Bangladesh is a Muslim majority country in south Asia. The people suffer from poverty, crowding, political instability and spiritual darkness.

Ministry work among Muslims is very difficult. We use three evangelistic methods that WORK.

The first is children’s homes. We bring Muslim background children into a home environment, praying that they will grow into strong Christian believers with a good foundation in God’s Word. These children return to strategic places among relatives and villages where no other Christians can go.

Yes, they face persecution. Yes, the families try to pull them away from their Christian faith. Yes, they are even in danger sometimes. But they are instruments that the Lord can use. They are a people called out for His Name.

The second method of evangelism is to come alongside national pastors who know how to work among their own people. Many of these pastors have come to the Lord from Muslim backgrounds. The churches are usually very small and under persecution.

We can be a help and an encouragement to these who minister on the front lines of faith—as we sponsor his child and take some of the load from his shoulders. We can help more Muslim background children to become educated and discipled as leaders. This is our pastor’s children sponsorship program.

Third, we have a “Morning Tuition Program" in 10 churches. Children from the community are invited to come to the church in the mornings for help with school work. They are given individual attention and tutoring from the pastor, one teacher and usually several other church leaders who volunteer their time to this ministry. The church children come for these “tuition” mornings, but the Muslim and Hindu children are also invited and many of them come. The leaders tutor the children in their school work and also teach God’s Word. They develop relationships with the children and their parents, which often results in precious fruit. Allow provides funding to pay the teacher and to provide fruit for the children.
